Strategic allocation portfolios are for investors who wish to have Rock Point’s Investment Committee, comprised of the Portfolio Managers and Research Team, decide on the allocation between the various asset classes. The asset allocation at any given time will be dictated by the Investment Committee’s views on the relative attractiveness of each asset class.
Target portfolios are for those investors who wish to participate in the asset allocation decision. Specific asset allocation goals are set by the client in consultation with the Portfolio Manager, and the portfolio is managed so that the asset allocation remains close to the target.
